In order to enrich students' campus life,  strengthen legal education for students, and further create a safe, harmonious and civilized campus environment, on the afternoon of 9th May, 2022, with the strong support and guidance of the school leaders and the Teaching Department, the Ethics and Rule of Law Teaching and Research Group of the Junior High Department of the west campus held the ‘Youth and Law Together’ Legal Knowledge Contest in the Lecture Hall on the first floor of the west campus. Principal Assistant Hu Qilin, Director Sun Yijun of the Personnel Department and Director Zhang Li of the Teaching Department were present at the competition.
To be concrete, this competition adopts the points system with four rounds of questions, which are: required questions, quick response questions, risk questions and additional questions. In the first round of required questions, the contestants from each class took turns to answer the questions quickly and accurately, showing their solid legal knowledge reserve. In the second round, the contestants competed with each other in fierce competition. Meanwhile, the judges commented on each contestant's answers one by one, affirming their rigorous thinking and accurate expression. In the third round of the risk question competition, the participants of each class persevered and did not suffer from stage fright when the difficulty was increased. Additionally, the scores went up and down, the audience broke into warm applause from time to time, and the atmosphere continued to heat up. As the last round of competition was finished, teacher Wu Jiamei, leader of the Ethics and Rule of Law Teaching and Research Group, summed up the competition, hoping that all students could walk with the law, consciously abide by the socialist rule of law and become loyal advocates and firm defenders of the socialist rule of law.
Finally, the school leaders presented prizes to the winning classes and congratulated them, pointing out that governing the country by law is everyone's responsibility. What’s more, we should better integrate the spirit of the rule of law into our study and life, and contribute to the realization of the Chinese dream of national rejuvenation.
